Job Description :

We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) with Payments Experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical exposure rather than a purely functional role, with hands-on experience in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.

- Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.

- Ensure alignment of requirements with payments industry standards and regulations.

- Collaborate with the development team to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Work within Scrum/Agile frameworks, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Conduct impact analysis and support system enhancements related to payment processing, transactions, and integrations.

- Utilize JIRA and Confluence for documentation, tracking, and collaboration.

- Assist in functional and UAT testing, ensuring the developed solutions meet business requirements.

Required Skills :

- Must have experience in the Payments domain (Card Payments, Digital Payments, Banking, FinTech, or similar).

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Scrum, and Testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools.

- Should have worked more on the technical side than the functional side.

- Ability to collaborate with development teams, architects, and QA engineers.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of APIs, SQL queries, and system integrations.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Understanding of PCI DSS compliance and payment security protocols.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
