We are seeking an experiencedDatabase Engineerwith strong expertise inPostgreSQLto design, implement, and optimize database solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PostgreSQL, experience withMS SQL Server , and familiarity withSnowflake . This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure database performance, reliability, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintainPostgreSQL database systemsensuring high performance, reliability, and security. Develop and optimizestored procedures, functions, and triggersin PostgreSQL. Write and optimizecomplex SQL queriesfor performance. Implementdatabase migration strategiesbetween different platforms. Collaborate with application developers to design efficientdatabase schemas . Perform regulardatabase maintenance , backup, and recovery operations. Monitor database performance and implementoptimization strategies . Document database designs, procedures, and standards. Required Skills & Experience: 2–5 yearsof experience in PostgreSQL database development. Strong proficiency in writing PostgreSQLstored procedures, functions, and triggers . AdvancedSQL query writing and optimizationskills. Experience withMS SQL Server . Knowledge ofSQL best practices . Experience indatabase performance tuningand query optimization. Proficiency indatabase backup, recovery, and high availability solutions . Preferred Qualifications: Basic understanding ofSnowflakedata warehouse platform. Experience withcloud-based database solutions(AWS RDS / Postgres). Knowledge ofdata modelingand normalization techniques. Experience withdatabase version controland change management. Familiarity with programming languages such asPythonorC# .
