Job Description:

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - English to join our team in Noida (Sector 80). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the English language and its pedagogy, coupled with experience in content creation and curriculum design for schools (Pre-primary to Grade 5). The role requires ensuring alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review English curriculum, textbooks, and supplementary materials aligned with NEP and NCF principles.
  • Create engaging, age-appropriate content for Pre-primary to Grade 5, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and 21st-century skills.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, editors, and instructional designers to ensure content quality and visual appeal.
  • Research and integrate best practices in English language teaching and competency-based assessments.
  • Provide expertise on grammar, literature, and creative writing for various projects.
  • Review and revise content to ensure academic and linguistic standards, including multilingual inclusivity as emphasized by NEP.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience in English content development, teaching, or curriculum design.
  • Strong understanding of NEP and NCF guidelines, including experiential and competency-based learning approaches.
  • Proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with NCERT curriculum and teaching pedagogy.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and content creation tools.
  • Ability to work from the Noida Sector 80 office full-time.
