Description : Role : SAP MDG Functional ConsultantExperience : 8 - 12 YearsNotice Period : Immediate- 30 DaysJob Description : SAP MDG Functional consultant is to drive the digitalization and optimization of master data processesYou will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the efficient management and distribution of high quality master data across the organization through DSVs global Master Data HubYour work will play a critical role in enhancing data accuracy consistency and accessibility for all companies within DSV contributing to improved operational efficiency and business outcomesResponsibility Tasks : - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze master data management requirements ensuring alignment with business goals and governance policies- Design and configure SAP MDG processes to support data creation validation maintenance and workflows for master data domains such as materials customers vendors and finance- Define master data governance frameworks including key attributes validation rules and harmonization standards to ensure data consistency and quality across systems- Integrate SAP MDG with ERP and other systems to enable seamless data replication and synchronization across the enterprise- Implement custom solutions for complex data governance scenarios working closely with developers to develop extensions and enhancements- Conduct unit and integration testing to validate MDG configurations and workflows supporting user acceptance testing UAT to ensure system readiness- Develop comprehensive documentation including data models governance workflows and user manuals and deliver training to business users and stakeholders- Provide postimplementation support by troubleshooting issues ensuring system stability and recommending enhancements to improve data governance efficiency- Build extend data models using SAP MDG configuration workbench- Configure custom specific validations in SAP MDG and BRF Plus- Build extend user interfaces with Web Dynpro and SAPUI5- Extension Development of CDS views o Data services in relation to MDG applications and analytics- Build extend workflow MDG templates rule based workflows including user assignments- Setup of Change Request Types- Present concepts to business stakeholdersWorking relations : We work closely with both functional and other technology teams fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment where your contributions can shape the next global functionalityYou will collaborate with highly skilled colleagues in an open and informal setting that encourages innovation and values your inputIn this role you will work independently while maintaining close coordination with the functional team members assigned to your tasks Additionally you will engage with technology teams ensuring seamless integration and alignment of solutions across different systemsProfessional qualifications : - Expertise in SAP MDG architecture including data models workflows BRF Business Rule Framework and Fiori applications- Deep understanding of master data governance principles including data quality validation harmonization and replication- Proficiency in designing governance solutions for advanced scenarios such as hierarchy management mass data changes and automation- Solid experience with SAP MDG implementations particularly in Data Modeling User Interfaces and Process Modeling- Experience with MDG S4 HANA on- premise with MDG Cloud experience as a desirable qualification- Adaptability to evolving SAP technologies like SAP MDG on S4HANA and cloud based master data governance solutionsPersonal qualifications : - Strong analytical skills to evaluate and map complex business requirements into scalable master data governance solutions- Attention to detail in configuring workflows validations and data replication processes to ensure compliance (ref:hirist.tech)
