Glean Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Glean APIs for search, chat, and workflow automation with data sources ranging from Google Drive to Slack.
• Engineer robust solutions across the stack, including query understanding, document processing, and adapting models to specific organizational domains.
• Invent new signals to personalize and improve search results, combining LLMs and traditional search engines to answer complex organizational questions.
• Automate business processes by orchestrating multi-step workflows and building agents that synthesize and act on enterprise data.
• Work collaboratively with product, design, and customer-facing teams to understand needs and deliver impactful features.

Required Skills

• Proven proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++ for building production-ready code and machine learning models.
• Expertise with search, NLP, recommendation systems, or similar large-scale ML technologies.
• Strong analytical and data-handling skills, with the ability to design and evaluate experiments that influence product direction.
• Experience working in customer-focused, cross-functional, and collaborative engineering environments.
