As a Senior QA Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, executing, and automating test cases for Guidewire-based insurance software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet the needs of our P&C insurance clients. You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the best minds serving insurance customers in the US, UK and Canadian markets.Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive test plans with the functional test design & execution approach. - Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications. - Execute test cases and scenarios, ensuring thorough testing coverage. - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing. - Logging defects, retesting the defects, re-executing the failed test cases and tracking the defects for closure - Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions. - Participate in all Scrum ceremonies - Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance overall quality and efficiency. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire Policy, Billing system testing and P&C insurance.Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum 4+ years of experience in testing Guidewire PolicyCenter, Automation - Hands-on experience with Guidewire technologies, including Guidewire Policy, Billing, and Underwriting, is highly desirable. - Guidewire automation using any automation framework/tool - Strong understanding of P&C insurance, including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. - Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with keen diligence. - Experience working in an Agile environment following the Onsite Offshore mode. - Mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.About the Company:ValueMomentum is a leading solutions provider for the global property and casualty insurance industry.
