Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the DBA team, providing technical direction, support, and mentorship.

- Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of database systems.

- Ensure database availability, security, scalability, and disaster recovery.

- Perform performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization for mission-critical applications.

- Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and high availability (HA/DR) solutions.

- Monitor and analyze database performance to proactively resolve issues.

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for seamless integration.

- Establish and enforce standards, policies, and best practices for database administration.

- Plan and execute capacity planning and database scaling strategies.

- Maintain compliance with data security and governance Skills & Experience :

- 10 to 12 years of experience in Database Administration (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or mixed environments).

- Proven skills in performance tuning, clustering, replication, partitioning, and sharding.

- Expertise in backup/recovery tools, HA/DR strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

- Strong knowledge of database security, auditing, and encryption.

- Experience with monitoring, automation tools, and scripting (SQL, Shell, to Have :

- Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).

- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
