About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Information Security Lead to establish and drive our security and compliance programs. The role will focus heavily on building and implementing security frameworks and ensuring the company achieves and maintains certifications like ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the organizations information security and compliance initiatives.
- Implement and manage ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR certification processes end-to-end.
- Design and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls across the company.
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and readiness reviews for compliance.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to embed security into processes.
- Manage external auditors, consultants, and certification bodies.
- Drive security awareness and training programs across the organization.
- Monitor emerging security risks, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Requirements :
- 615 years of experience in information security, compliance, and risk management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR (and similar) certification initiatives in previous companies.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, data protection laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with policies, processes, and technical controls for compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications like CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are a strong plus.
