Lead Backend Engineer

What you need to do :- Own and drive backend projects end-to-endfrom whiteboard brainstorming to highly available production systems.- Design and build cloud-native microservices that are resilient, observable, and horizontally scalable.- Move fast, ship oftencollaborate in a high-velocity environment with short iteration cycles and frequent A/B testing.- Work with petabyte-scale data, leveraging Redshift and other AWS-native analytics tools to power intelligent product decisions.- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into product workflows to unlock smarter, more personalized user experiences.- Collaborate with a strong team of engineers, contributing to code reviews, design reviews, and technical culture.Who you need to be :- 8 years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production systems at scale.- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem, with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems design.- Experienced in building event-driven, distributed systems using Kafka, Redis, and message brokers.- Skilled in relational databases like MySQL and hands-on with schema design and optimization- Deep experience managing infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, : Experience integrating with LLMs, vector databases, or building ML pipelines (ref:hirist.tech)
