The ideal profile would include the following qualifications :
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, particularly in the GROW with SAP context
- Experience with manufacturing-relevant SAP modules (PP, MM, SD, QM)
- Proven track record in leading SAP implementation projects in India
- Deep understanding of discrete manufacturing processes and digital transformation (e.g., IoT, AI, Variant Configurator)
- Familiarity with local regulatory requirements, supply chains, and cultural aspects of doing business in India
- Strong project management and change management skills
- Ability to act as a strategic interface between global and local teams
We would utilize this individual for the following areas :
a) Establishing SAP GROW for Manufacturing as a bridgehead for QPPS Manufacturing
b) Strategic leadership for the QPPS Experience Center initiative in India, including the Variant Configurator
d) Building SAP capacity for worldwide SAP Manufacturing projects
Profile in more detail :
1. SAP Expertise :
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, especially the GROW with SAP offering.
- Experience with manufacturing-relevant modules : PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), QM (Quality Management).
2. Industry Knowledge :
- Familiarity with discrete manufacturing, high-tech, or component manufacturing.
- Understanding of production models like Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, and Configure-to-Order.
3. Digital Transformation :
- Experience with smart manufacturing, IoT integration, and AI-driven quality control.
- Knowledge of XaaS (Everything as a Service) business models.
Market & Regional Understanding
1. Indian Manufacturing Landscape :
- Awareness of the "Make in India" initiative and local regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of local supply chains, labor laws, and taxation.
2. Cultural & Communication Skills :
- Ability to work effectively with local teams, partners, and government bodies.
- Sensitivity to cultural nuances in business operations and decision-making.
Strategic & Operational Skills
1. Project Management :
- Proven experience in setting up new operations or rolling out ERP systems.
- Ability to manage end-to-end implementation of SAP solutions.
