As a Professor of Practice (Software Development) at CMRU, you will inspire and train students in advanced coding skills, preparing them for successful careers in technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions aligned with the coding curriculum.
• Guide students to write error-free code and debug effectively.
• Provide comprehensive assistance in solving company-based interview questions hosted on platforms like Face Prep and other career-focused portals.
• Train students on effectively using platforms such as HackerRank for coding tests and assessments.
• Conduct hackathons to foster innovation and problem-solving skills.
• Launch and mentor coding clubs to build a collaborative coding culture on campus.
• Conduct targeted training sessions for coding interviews tailored to companies participating in placement drives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JAVA, C#, C.
• Experience in using coding platforms like Codetantra, HackerRank
• Strong presentation and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in coding and problem-solving.

Experience Required

• Hands on Industry experience, ideally as a Senior Software Developer in IT/Software firms in Bangalore.
• Profiles on GitHub, LeetCode, Analytics Vidya, or equivalent as a bonus.
• Practical exposure to coding challenges, hackathons, and corporate coding standards.
