Key accountabilities:

- Set the product strategy for Retail Media Data and Insight platform and suite of products and inspire, lead and line manage a team of high-performing product managers to ensure products are defined, designed and managed well end-to-end.

- Formulate and execute strategies to achieve the product vision across Media Analytics, Experimentation and Optimization, Applied Data Science, Science engine, Data Science Apps, Insights and Media planning tools, Yield Optimization, Measurement platform and related capabilities.

- Ensure Data Quality, consistency and availability across the end to end Retail Media journey - from campaign to serve.

- Provide the best-in-class science engine, the optimization and experimentation capabilities powered by data and metrics.

- Provide self-serve capabilities and real time access to dashboards and metrics.

- Provide insights to CPGs, Agency and brand on every campaign with key metrics like ROAS, CPM, CPC and the effective yield.

- Work closely with Retail Media Demand and Supply team enabling through the innovative use of data and science, supporting all product managers in the Retail Media organisation to measure and track performance of their products and drive a culture of continuous improvement supported by data.

- Design, execute and evaluate experiments for any new proposition, fail fast, Innovate at its best.

- Monitor the competitive landscape to help inform strategic alliance and partnership planning, as well as identify broader new product and commercial opportunities.

- Conduct market research to identify trends and make informed decisions.

- Lead and inspire a global team of product managers, designers and work closely with the engineering team on execution strategies to achieve the product vision.

- Communicate Product strategy and the relevant metrics of success to the Retail Media Leadership.

- Develop and deliver presentations at industry events, develop playbooks and collateral for our products and services, and write white papers and blogs to establish Tesco Media position as industry thought leaders.

- Manage risk effectively, provide visible and consistent leadership on Values and Code of Business Conduct and act where you see issues.

- Protect our team by ensuring they have the skills and training needed.

- Possess strong analytical skills and collaboration abilities.

What we expect from you?.

- Broad experience of working in the media, retail media and/ or CPG industry in a similar role.

- Deep experience in data and insights product, building large complex data platform and product development experience.

- Experience in Product Analytics, Experimentation and Optimization.

- Strategizing and Leading a team of Applied Data scientists and analysts with a passion for innovation.

- Deep digital and connected store/ omni-channel experience.

- Extensive experience in global media alliances and partnerships.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.

- Experience in working in a global role and creation of thought leadership.

- Experience in media data products and technologies, standards, vendor products, competitive products, emerging technology, etc.

- Creation of thought leadership (whitepapers, conference speaking) and passion to stay ahead on consumer, technology and industry trends around customer experience, data and insight.
