Educational Qualification:- Bachelors degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent hands-on experience - 2+ years of copywriting specifically for e-commerce emails (campaigns & flows) - Excellent command of grammar and persuasive writing techniquesRoles & Responsibilities:- Write clear, engaging copy for email campaigns and automated flows (welcome series, cart-abandon, post-purchase, re-engagement) - Craft scroll-stopping subject lines, preview text, headers, and CTAs that boost opens and clicks - Write engaging copy for ad creatives - Partner with designer to ensure copy and visuals work in harmony - Develop and execute A/B tests on copy elements to optimize open rate, click-through, and conversion - Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all client emails - Stay ahead of e-commerce trends, email best practices, and deliverability guidelinesPreferred Profile:- Exceptional storytelling skills and a knack for translating product benefits into customer-focused messages - Proven ability to adapt tone and voice across different brands and niches - Comfortable working in an ESP (Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, etc.) and using templates to streamline your workflow - Basic familiarity with open-rate and click-through metrics to inform your copy decisions - no deep analytics required - Fast learner who welcomes feedback, iterates quickly, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven agency setting - Excellent communication skills and a passion for staying on top of e-commerce and email marketing trendsWhy You'll Love Working With Us:- Join a close-knit team at Syncopated Marketing where your words drive real revenue - Own every step of the process from brainstorming subject lines to analysing campaign performance - Work with a variety of exciting e-commerce brands
