Location: Pune


Key responsibilities

Assist in the Business Analysis phase including the translation of business requirements into functional specifications and creation of the associated workflows.

Development and recording of test scripts.

Carrying out system / integration testing and recording the results as appropriate.

Identify limitations in the various system and / or interfaces and log them JIRA.

Provide support to UAT testing, locating and identifying solutions to bugs found.

Provide application support to the production environment as required.

Configuration of new Reference Data platform (Golden Source) as appropriate.

All work is to be undertaken adhering to existing project and department standards for documentation, security, testing and release management.

Skillset:

Investment banking knowledge gained through working on projects within both front and back-office environments.

Experience of working with an enterprise reference platform (either vendor product or internal build).

Understanding of the various aspects that constitute a reference data system for the business.

Understanding of workflows that support the maintenance of reference data (e.g. client on-boarding).

Knowledge of the various external sources of reference data.

Ability to write SQL scripts.

Test scripting and execution.

Experience with the Golden Source platform, in particular version 8.

Working experience within a Fixed Income environment.

Experience with data vendor feeds (e.g. Bloomberg).
