About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, API, and E2E testing, and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable products.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (KRA) :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Conduct comprehensive manual and automation testing for web, API, and end-to-end (E2E) scenarios.

- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.

- Create, execute, and manage detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard defect tracking tools.

- Ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Conduct API testing using Postman and validate responses with XPath and CSS selectors.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives from a QA perspective.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers and review their work for quality.

- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and practices to align with industry best standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 810 years of proven experience in QA (Manual + Automation).

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for automation testing.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation scripts.

- Expertise in Postman, XPath, and CSS selectors.

- Solid experience in API testing and validation.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

- Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
