The Global Institute of Sports Business (GISB) is an industry designed and experiential learning sports management institute that provides a practical approach to sports management education with a clear focus on furthering individual growth, fostering student employability and generating sector impact.

The programs have been designed by global sports industry veterans to ensure that GISB students receive the tools, knowledge, and experiences required to create fulfilling careers in sport and gain access to relevant platforms to interact with industry employers.

GISB is the flagship brand of the company - IOT Sports Education which is India's leading sports knowledge hub - pioneering education, research and connections to enhance the global sports sector. IOT Sports Education envisions to play an important role in fulfilling dreams of aspiring sports professionals and to be a part of this much sought-after industry. IOT Sports Education is the sister concern of IOT Sporting Aspiration which runs India's leading 360-degree sports agency – India On Track.

Position

IOT Sports Education is looking to appoint a Performance Marketing Manager for the Global Institute of Sports Business. At a minimum, the candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing performance marketing campaigns across various digital channels to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with Department Head and Marketing team to streamline campaigns that support the admissions process.
  • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies to achieve key business objectives, including customer acquisition, conversion rate optimization, and revenue growth.
  • Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Ads, and other relevant channels.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, creative, and analytics, to develop integrated marketing campaigns that align with business goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in performance marketing.
  • Monitor and manage advertising budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key metrics, KPIs, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide support in social media marketing strategy, operations and related activities including content capture and organizing.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for pre-sales collateral building.

OTHER SUPPORT FUNCTIONS

  • Support administrative and operations team to enhance the student experience.
  • Support India On Track with events, new business, or client servicing when required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in performance marketing, with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Experience of working with an educational company/ed-tech platform/university is preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and other optimization techniques is a plus.
  • Certification in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or other relevant certifications is desirable.
