Key Responsibilities :

- Work will include testing of Pega Applications for Flow Rules, Decision Rules, Integrations and Automated Regression Testing and working alongside Test Leads to ensure all test activities on projects are executed as per the Test Plans.

- Required to liaise with Test Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, users to ensure and enabling the changes along with meeting the quality standards.

- Executing tests on software usability.

- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.

- Role Requires Proficient in Converting the Use cases into the Test Scenario's and Test cases, Understand the Flow diagrams and come up with the Test scenario and Cases

- Incumbent must learn and be comfortable with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, scripting, and Execution, also must learn to have knowledge of Pega tool and its features.

- Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.

- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).

- Requires Peer Reviews of the Test Scripts from the Team.

- Role expects you to be comfortable with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, scripting, SIT, coordination of UAT and handover to operations

- Experience working in Agile methodology.

- Develops the Test Summary Reports and Matrix and support the Project Leads

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

Essential Technical Qualification :

Functional Testing :

- Role Requires to understand the Use cases and Design the Test Approach for the Pega Applications and Establish automation strategy for the application and implement the automation to reduce the testing cycle.

- Role requires proficiency in converting the Use cases into the Test Scenario's and Test cases.

Functional Test Planning :

- Understanding the Flow diagrams and coming up with the Test scenario/s and Cases.

- Extensive coordination with product and Dev team on requirement gaps and functional issues resolution.

- API testing using SoapUI and create SQL queries.

- Coordination with Performance test team to provide the necessary functional details.

- Should have strong desire to be a functional tester with the technical capability to maintain tests.

- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.

- Ability to understand various aspects of Integration testing involving multiple interfaces.

Automation Testing Knowledge :

- Should understand Test Automation and Open-source Frameworks

- Understanding the Selenium, Java and BDD frameworks and very strong on the Automation concepts
