Description :Key Responsibilities :- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM MQ across various environments (Dev, QA, Prod).- Design and implement MQ architecture patterns for new application integrations.- Create and manage MQ objects including queues, channels, process definitions, and topics.- Set up and manage monitoring, alerts, and performance tuning for MQ environments using tools like MQ Explorer, Omegamon for MQ, and TEPS.- Perform routine administrative tasks such as backups, restores, and message handling using IBM MQ utilities.- Troubleshoot and resolve MQ-related issues, ensuring high availability and message reliability.- Work collaboratively with application and infrastructure teams to meet integration and performance goals.- Develop and maintain documentation for MQ configurations, policies, and procedures.- Ensure MQ environments comply with security standards and best practices.Required Skills & Experience :- 7-15 years of experience in IBM MQ administration.- Proven expertise in installation, upgrades, configurations, and troubleshooting of IBM MQ.- Strong understanding of messaging architecture design and MQ integration patterns.- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Omegamon for MQ, MQ Explorer, and TEPS.- Proficiency in defining and managing queues, channels, process definitions, and topics.- Skilled in executing IBM MQ utilities for message handling (backups, deletions, recovery, etc.).- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with high-availability MQ clustering and disaster recovery setups.- Familiarity with cloud-based MQ implementations (AWS MQ, IBM Cloud).- Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or PowerShell for automation.- Understanding of integration platforms like IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect.
