Enterprise Data Architect / Data Management LeadLocation : Bangalore, IndiaEmployment Type : Full-TimeExperience Level : 10+ yearsJob Summary:- We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Data Architect / Data Management Lead to drive strategic data initiatives across the organization. - The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise data modeling, data architecture, data warehousing, database design, data migration, master data management (MDM), and data governance. - This role also involves mentoring technical leads and architects in the domain of data management.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data models aligned with business objectives.- Architect scalable and secure data warehouse solutions and oversee database design best practices.- Manage data migration projects across heterogeneous systems ensuring integrity and minimal downtime.- Drive MDM initiatives to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of core business data.- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across the enterprise.- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define data strategies and roadmaps.- Mentor and guide technical leads and architects in data management principles and practices.- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for data architecture and governance.- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security policies.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.- Proven expertise in enterprise data modeling (3NF, dimensional, Data Vault).- Strong experience with data warehouse platforms, ETL tools, and database technologies.- Hands-on experience in MDM, data governance, and metadata management.- Excellent understanding of data migration strategies and tools.- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.Preferred Skills:- Experience with tools like Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, SSIS, and Drools.- Familiarity with data cataloging tools (Alation, Collibra) and pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Azure Data Factory).- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).- Certifications in data architecture, MDM, or governance frameworks (ref:iimjobs.com)
