Job Title: Associate Business Analyst / Implementation Analyst – Banking & FinTechRole Overview:We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to support product delivery and client implementation activities within the banking and financial technology domain. The role is ideal for candidates who have good client interaction experience and strong communication skills, and are now looking to build deeper expertise in business analysis, solutioning, and core banking systems.The candidate will work closely with product managers, senior BAs, and development teams to translate client requirements into clear functional deliverables while learning the end-to-end processes of digital banking products.Key Responsibilities:- Requirement Support & Documentation: - Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements under the guidance of senior BAs or product owners. - Contribute to the preparation of BRDs, FSDs, and User Stories based on discussions with stakeholders. - Client Engagement: - Participate in client meetings, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs to capture inputs and clarify queries. - Support senior team members in conducting UAT, triaging issues, and ensuring smooth communication between client and internal teams. - Implementation & Product Understanding: - Work on product configuration and implementation activities, especially within Core Banking or Payments modules. - Gain hands-on exposure to Finacle or other core banking platforms. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate interpretation of functional requirements. - Assist in issue analysis and provide business context during defect resolution. - Learning & Domain Development: - Build foundational knowledge of Core Banking Systems, including Deposits, Payments, Virtual Accounts, Lending, and Billing. - Stay updated with fintech and regulatory trends relevant to product areas.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in software implementation, client engagement, or business analysis, preferably in banking or financial services. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client interactions. - Analytical & Documentation Skills: Ability to analyze client needs and translate them into structured documentation. - Technical & Process Tools: Basic familiarity with Agile processes and tools like JIRA, Confluence; working knowledge of BRDs/FSDs/User Stories is desirable. - Domain Knowledge: Exposure to Core Banking Systems (e.g., Finacle, Temenos, Intellect, Oracle Flexcube) is an advantage; willingness to learn is essential. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field. - Preferred Attributes: - Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new products and domains. - Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.Growth Path:This role offers a clear progression toward a Business Analyst / Domain SME position through hands-on exposure to:- End-to-end banking product implementations - Requirement elicitation and solutioning in real client environments - Deep domain expertise across Core Banking and Payments modules
