Solution Architect – Programmable Technology

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient solution architect to serve as the technical lead for orchestration solution and design efforts, ensuring alignment with internal architecture, workflows, and operational requirements. This role will work closely with suppliers, internal cross-functional teams (CFT), and automation engineers to define scalable, compliant, and future-proof orchestration solutionsKey Responsibilities- Collaborate with CFTs and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs and development plans. - Oversee the full lifecycle of orchestration features—from design and development to testing, validation, and production rollout. - Collaborate with suppliers and internal development teams to define and refine development designs and automation logic. - Participate in CFT meetings to align architecture, workflows, and integration points across systems. - Translate business and operational requirements into technical specifications for supplier development. - Review and validate supplier deliverables for compliance with NetP provisioning rules and ONAP orchestration standards. - Support integration efforts across TCx, Cramer, and Master orchestration platforms. - Identify design gaps, integration risks, and automation inconsistencies early in the development lifecycle. - Provide architectural guidance during UAT, deployment, and post-migration phases. - Work closely with Operations and IT teams to define UAT test cases and expected provisioning behavior end-to-end. - Document provisioning workflows, automation logic, and test results to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing. - Drive development best practices, CI/CD adoption, and automation across the orchestration stack. - Correlate metrics, logs, and traces to identify bottlenecks, optimize service behavior, and improve reliability. - Apply strong understanding of distributed failure patterns, redundancy strategies, and observability design to build resilient systems. - Document solution designs, integration flows, and supplier engagement strategies.Qualifications and Skills - 15+ years in telecom software and application architecture, service orchestration, or solution architecture. - Proven experience in development lifecycle management. - Strong understanding of NetP provisioning, TCx order management, and Cramer inventory systems. - Expertise in ONAP architecture, policy-driven automation, and API-based orchestration. - Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills. - Expertise in database modelling and architecture for both NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB) and relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL). - Proficient in identifying single points of failure in systems and implementing solutions to ensure high availability and fault tolerance. - Skilled in analyzing and improving system performance to optimize application efficiency and scalability. - Knowledge or experience in ONAP (Open Network Automation Platform), including its components, architecture, and application for network service automation and orchestration. - Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and micro-service technologies. - Proficient in software development programming languages, including Groovy, Kotlin, Python, and Java. - Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and multithreading techniques for building robust and scalable solutions. - Ability to conduct code reviews and create technical documentation. - Hands-on experience in telecom, cloud-native, and software engineering domains, with proven leadership role. - Demonstrated experience in ONAP architecture, orchestration workflows, and service modeling. - Strong development background in Java, Python, or similar languages, with experience in microservices and distributed systems. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation practices. - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and service provisioning logic. - Proficiency with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). - Experience with service modeling languages (TOSCA, YANG), Netconf/RESTconf, and hybrid cloud orchestration. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and edge computing environments. - Contributions to open-source orchestration platforms or standards bodies. - Strategic experience in vendor collaboration, roadmap planning, and budget management. - Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities. - Excellent communication and decision-making skills. - Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution. - Passion for scaling innovation and building high-performing teams. - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Attention to detail and quality orientation
