Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPQ Techno-Functional Consultant with strong experience in implementing and supporting SAP Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge technical capabilities with functional understanding to design, configure, and enhance SAP CPQ systems aligned with complex business requirements. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, SAP architects, and developers to enable seamless quote-to-cash processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP CPQ configurations and enhancements.
- Lead SAP CPQ solution design, development, testing, and deployment across full project life cycles.
- Configure pricing logic, quote workflows, product modeling, user interface, and approval processes within SAP CPQ.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, and external stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient CPQ solutions.
- Customize SAP CPQ using scripting, rules, and data tables as needed to support unique business needs.
- Ensure successful data integration between SAP CPQ and other SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, SD, CRM) or third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues in production and project environments.
- Stay updated with SAP CPQ product releases, best practices, and roadmap to recommend future improvements.
Must Have
- 7+ years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on SAP CPQ implementation and support experience.
- Strong understanding of CPQ functional processes: product configuration, guided selling, pricing rules, discounting, quoting, and approvals.
- Ability to write and understand CPQ scripting, rules, and advanced logic for UI and backend customization.
- Familiarity with SAP CPQ APIs, Data Tables, BMQL, PMQL, and formula-based configurations.
- Experience working on SAP CPQ integrations with S/4HANA or ECC using middleware or APIs.
- Proven ability to engage with business users and explain technical details in a clear, business-friendly manner.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP Sales Cloud or CRM tools integrated with CPQ.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes.
- Experience with SAP BTP or integration platforms like CPI, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft.
- SAP CPQ certification or training completion.
- Prior experience working in a consulting or client-facing role.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field required.
- SAP or CPQ certifications are a plus.
