The Shopify Developer will be responsible for creating and customizing Shopify themes, integrating third-party applications, developing custom functionalities, and troubleshooting issues. Daily tasks include working closely with the design and marketing teams to implement new features, optimizing website performance, ensuring a seamless user experience, and maintaining up-to-date documentation.Qualifications- Proficiency in Shopify development, theme customization, and app integrations - Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language - Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery. - Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility with responsive designs. - Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance. - Implement third-party APIs, payment gateways, and advanced integrations. - Familiarity with eCommerce principles and best practices - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - Experience with WordPress websites is a plus (themes, plugins, custom post types, page builders). - Experience with Webflow, Wix is a plus. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
