Role Description :

As a Java Backend Developer, you will be a key contributor to our backend development initiatives. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring code quality through testing and code reviews, and collaborating with team members to deliver successful projects. Your expertise in Java, Spring Data, JPA, and microservices will be crucial for building and maintaining our backend systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 8 (or above).

- Implement microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

- Develop and maintain database schemas and perform database operations using ORM technologies.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Design and implement database schemas using RDBMS.

- Utilize ORM technologies (e.g., Hibernate) for database operations.

- Write and optimize SQL queries.

- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs.

- Ensure API security and performance.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, and other DevOps tools.

- Deploy and manage applications in cloud or on-premise environments.

- Automate deployment and infrastructure management tasks.

- Write and execute unit tests using JUnit.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues.

- Ensure high code quality and reliability.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications and user guides.

- Document code and system architecture.

Requirements :

Experience :

- Proven experience in Java backend development.

- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Skills :

- Good knowledge of Java 8 (above versions) with hands-on experience.

- Good understanding of RDBMS along with ORM technologies.

- Strong knowledge of Spring Data, JPA, Microservices, REST, and API.

- Good understanding of build tools like Maven and Git.

- Hands-on experience with debugging code and troubleshooting.

- Experienced with DevOps, CI-CD, Git, and Agile Methodologies.

- Experience writing JUnit test cases.

- Knowledge of React (Good to have).
