Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Location: Pune, Bangalore, Greater Noida, Trichy

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures on the AWS cloud platform.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data from diverse sources.
  • Design and optimize data models for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis in data warehouses like Amazon Redshift.
  • Implement data governance policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Document data infrastructure, pipelines, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS services, best practices, and industry trends in data engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions on the AWS cloud platform.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, etc.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL querying.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty is a plus.
