Job opening for an Engineering Manager role in a Leading Insurance Company at Role : Engineering Manager


Job Location : Mumbai


Working Days : 5 Days

Work Mode : Work From Office

Preferred Industry : Insurance / Banking / Financial Services / NBFC

Job Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead the internal development team and provide guidance, training, and direction to them as they work on strategy projects.

- Manage the delivery of vital web, mobile, and data applications.

- Work with program delivery teams, business owners, product owners, and architects to create and implement top-notch applications.

- Initiate and oversee process improvement programs and digital transformation projects.

- Oversee the creation and maintenance of integrations with partners and digital platforms.

- Ensure that governance, stakeholder alignment, and application support, enhancements, and strategic projects are delivered.

- Participate in the planning of the organization's digital technology strategy, ensure stakeholder alignment, governance, and delivery of application support, enhancements, and strategic projects; and manage current systems.

- Keep abreast with new developments in technology and make wise technological choices.

- Ensure adherence to coding and information security standards;

- Conduct industry benchmarking and keep an eye on emerging technology and digital trends;

- Manage budgets for the vertical and uphold relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

- Address delivery and development-related issues with internal team members, such as infra, core IT, infosec, risk, etc.;

Qualification Required :

- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or relevant field, MTech / MCA is preferred.

- 3-5 years of experience as a hands-on Software Developer & a minimum of 2 years as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager
