As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, engineering, and/or writing documentation in a regulated environment. You have the ability to evaluate and analyse complex information and a natural desire to help people understand things that are hard to understand.Objectives of This RoleStrong writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detailDeep understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, ICH) for creating documentation in regulated environmentsStrong proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Visio, and SharePointAbility to manage projects, collaborate effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs), and meet deadlines in high-pressure pharma/biotech environmentsDevelop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standardsObtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging contentWrite user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights into language that sets users up for successDevelop and maintain detailed databases of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specificationsEvaluate existing content and develop innovative approaches for continuous improvementDaily and Monthly ResponsibilitiesResearch, outline, write, and edit new and existing content while working closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirementsIndependently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentationWork with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit existing content, and determine optimal solutions for data compilation and centralized storageResearch, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards and enable easy data migrationDevelop content in alternative media formats for maximum usability, ensuring a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentationSkills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field5+ years of industry experience as an effective technical writerExperience writing documentation in a GxP environment and in support of validated applications, including requirements and design specifications, test protocols, validation plans, and validation reportsStrong understanding of GxP regulations (GMP, GCP, GLP), FDA regulations, and compliance standardsMeticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracyProven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topicsPrevious experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiencesSuperior written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detailExperience working with engineering teams to improve user experience, including design, UI collaboration, content refinement, and creation of visuals and diagrams for technical support contentPreferred QualificationsProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with effective prioritizationFirm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)Previous software development experienceCertification through the Society for Technical CommunicatorsExperience using XML tools to create documentationPerks & BenefitsPermanent work-from-home opportunityFlexi Week culture (5 days / 9-day fortnight)Fixed internet allowanceOther benefitsNote: We will contact candidates who fit the current requirements.
