Shopify Developer

Job Brief: 

We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to build, customize, and maintain high-quality Shopify stores. You will collaborate closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to deliver visually compelling, user-friendly, and high-performance eCommerce websites that drive sales and align with our clients' goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement website features and functionality.
• Customize Shopify themes to meet specific client requirements and brand guidelines.
• Work with the design team to translate designs into high-quality, responsive eCommerce websites.
• Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, and APIs into Shopify stores.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user experiences and eCommerce solutions.
• Perform website updates, including product pages, collections, pricing, and content updates.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Ensure that all Shopify websites follow best practices in terms of security, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct regular testing to ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of more than three years as a Shopify Developer or in a similar eCommerce development role.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid experience with Shopify's API and integrations.
• Familiarity with Shopify Apps and tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first web development.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how they apply to eCommerce websites.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex problems.
