Role Overview : We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with 6-10 years of experience to join our high-performing engineering team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, powering real-time digital experiences for millions of users. This is an onsite role based out of our Koramangala office, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.3. Must-Have Skills : - Strong proficiency in Java with at least 6 years of experience- Deep understanding of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem- Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)- Strong grasp of object-oriented design, system design, and best coding practices- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code- Problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership.4. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices- Prior experience in high-traffic systems or real-time platforms- Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities5. Roles and Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain backend services for large-scale applications- Work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver new features- Optimize performance and scalability of applications- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues- Continuously explore and implement new technologies and best practices6.
