- Understanding of payments and banking domain fundamentals required- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for native and hybrid mobile applications (Android/iOS).- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tool like Appium.- Conduct API testing as part of end-to-end validation of mobile workflows.- Contributing to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.- Assisting in root cause analysis and providing detailed documentation of defects and test results.- Supporting test execution in CI/CD environments and integrating test automation into pipelines.- Knowledge on ticket tools such as JIRA must.- Participate in critical design activities to assure that the product under development meets requirements and can be effectively tested.- Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms.- Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with developers to resolve issues as and when required.- Analysing trends of bugs and getting them fixed.- Be aware of product updates, ux trends and new technologies.- Use multiples platforms like JIRA, Git, AWS, Jenkins, firebase, Grafana etc.- Establish and maintain productive relationships with developers, product managers and other team members.- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet the deadlines.Technical Skills and Experience : - Tech graduates with 3 to 4 years of experience.- Hands-on experience with Appium- Proficient in any scripting language : Java, Python, JavaScript- Experience in testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.- Strong knowledge of mobile testing strategies, UI interactions, and device-specific behaviours.- Good understanding of ADB commands, simulators, emulators, and real-device testing.- Exposure to mobile performance and crash analysis tools.- Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle, QA methodologies, and best practices.- Experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.- Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).- Knowledge of cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack.- Maintain a high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines.- Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility & accountability- Analytical and problem-solving skills.- Familiar with Best Practices in Test Automation- Test it to break it attitude- Hands-on experience in SQL queries.- Working experience of a startup.
