Designation : Senior Software Engineer.
Location : Bangalore.
Experience : Minimum 4 Years of experience is required (Candidates from Product Organizations are preferred but not mandatory).

Today, we are one of India's largest healthcare aggregators connecting lakhs of patients to licensed pharmacies & diagnostic centers online for all their medical needs.
We are particularly catering to the chronic-care segment, and offer a range of services including medicine delivery, tele-consultation, sample collection for diagnostic tests as well as subscription-based services for all these categories.
Our highly efficient and technology led Consumer and Supply-chain platforms ensure that medicines are delivered from a licensed pharmacy within six hours of the validation of prescriptions submitted by our customers.
And such customer promises are improving with the increasing scale of our business, and continuous product innovation.
By extensively leveraging the latest in hardware and software technology, we are also committed to eradicate fake medicines from the Pharma ecosystem that contribute to roughly 30% of drug volumes in India.
Our product innovations have allowed for complete data transparency in the entire Pharma supply-chain to empower even the end-users to validate the authenticity and genuineness of the medicines for every medicine sold, using constructs such as unique barcoding of information like expiry dates, origination of drugs etc.

PharmEasy is looking for results-oriented Engineers :
An ideal candidate for us would be a passionate builder of great products/frameworks and someone who would thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenge of complex business contexts that are typically being defined in real-time.
In this role, you will be responsible for building world-class technology products and platforms that are at the forefront of the technology revolution in the Indian healthcare ecosystem.

Our projects are focused on Software and Systems Design, development, comprehensive testing, Data Science and Analytics, Systems and Infrastructure engineering, etc.

You will be exposed to software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, open source technologies, and how they are leveraged at Industrial scale and in a practical manner.
Responsibilities :
- Design and build highly reliable, available and scalable solutions that can handle Millions of API calls across systems.
- Take the accountability of the overall health of the products you build and predictability of the deliverables of your team.
- Platformize components as libraries, utilities and servicify and promote reuse.
- Be able to conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly.
- Build Tech systems that can seamlessly scale and handle Millions of API calls across systems.
- Own a large technical roadmap and execute in a structured manner, complete ownership of functional Services that your teams are responsible for.
- Work with product and business teams to build a long term / short term product roadmap and see through execution.
- Drive the technical roadmap of the team and nurture bottom up innovation.
- Build and nurture high performing teams of skilled software engineers.
What are we looking for :
- BTech/B.E in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent) Or high technical acumen and rich technical experience.
- Ability to take ownership of projects under the guidance of your mentor.
- Must be an excellent problem solver.
- Candidate should be Proficient in Java, Spring boot, Good with Low Level Design and High Level Design any object-oriented high level proprietary or open-source language with strong programming constructs.
- Solid understanding of DS and algorithms, OOP concepts, and MVC architecture.
- Good knowledge of database technologies and use of relational and non-relational databases.
