We’re looking for a Software Tester to join our team based in Pune. This is a varied role working with the Internal team, specifically Developers and, the Customer IT team and providers and suppliers when required.


The primary responsibility of this role is to perform a broad range of testing using appropriate testing environments, techniques and software solutions. You will be working closely with the Clients and Development Team to consider requirements and build appropriate test plans. You will also be expected to input into high-level detailed estimates to encompass testing required to form Proposal and Statement of Work documents for Customer sign-off. You will also perform functional testing across a range of client applications.

  • Ensures solutions are fit for purpose, accurate and delivered on time
  • A champion for user experience
  • Suggests and challenges appropriately to ensure fit for purpose client solutions
  • Contributes to solutions that work towards our strategy and follow Axis policies, best practice and processes
  • Active interest in Technology and Innovation with an ongoing interest in broadening technical knowledge


Requirements

  • Experience in testing software, mobile and web applications
  • API Testing using Postman
  • Ability to create and maintain test plans
  • Experience of the full project life cycle with a specific focus on test processing activities from planning to completion
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task are essential requirements for the role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally as required
