About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented SEO Project Manager  to lead and coordinate SEO initiatives across various clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO strategy, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients. This role is critical to ensuring SEO projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with broader marketing goals.


Key Responsibilities

1.  Plan, manage, and execute SEO projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

2.  Collaborate closely with internal teams (content, technical SEO, design, web development) to implement SEO strategies.

3.  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

4.  Develop and manage SEO project timelines, assign tasks, and monitor progress using project management tools.

5.  Coordinate and oversee keyword research, on-page optimization, technical audits, backlink strategies, and content planning.

6.  Track and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.

7.  Identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, or issues that may impact project timelines or performance.

8.  Stay current with search engine algorithms, SEO trends, and best practices to drive ongoing improvements.

9.  Drive process optimization for SEO workflows and ensure documentation of best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications

1.  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

2.  5+ years of SEO experience, with at least 2 years in a project management or leadership role.

3.  Strong understanding of SEO techniques, tools, and ranking factors—including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.

4.  Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.

5.  Proficiency in project management tools like Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Jira.

6.  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

7.  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously.

8.  Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
