Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented web development, along with expertise in object-oriented architecture and design (OOAD) with primary development skills in PHP, Python, jQuery, Node.js, and expertise in Webservice, Microservices, and REST API development, you possess a robust foundation in web development. These skills enable you to build dynamic and scalable web applications.

Your secondary skill sets in SQL, database interaction, and understanding of CodeIgniter further enhance your ability to design and maintain database-driven applications. This combination allows you to create efficient and well-structured systems that effectively manage data and interact with various databases.

Your expertise in both frontend (jQuery) and backend (PHP, Python, Node.js) technologies equips you to develop full-stack solutions, ensuring seamless integration between the user interface and the server-side logic. Additionally, your proficiency in Microservices architecture enables you to design modular and independently deployable services, enhancing the scalability and maintainability of your applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a strong understanding of object-oriented web development principles to design and implement scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Apply OOAD principles to architect and design robust software systems that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using CodeIgniter or any other PHP framework, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Design, implement, and consume web services to enable seamless integration between different components of our applications.
  • Leverage Python for various development tasks, including scripting, automation, and data processing.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of relational databases like MySQL to effectively interact with and manipulate data.
  • Ensure compliance with product versions and development standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an AGILE environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Utilize source code control systems to manage and track changes to the codebase.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Min 7+ Years of experience in software development, with a focus on web development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and web development concepts.
  • Proficiency in CodeIgniter or a similar PHP framework, with a solid understanding of PHP latest version.
  • Experience working with web services and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and other development tasks.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with AGILE methodologies and development practices.
  • Hands-on experience with source code control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other web development frameworks and technologies.
  • Familiarity with front end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
