Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in automation testing for web, mobile, and API applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Selenium, Appium, Postman/RestAssured, and programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating automated test solutions into CI/CD pipelines while ensuring software quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Test Automation Development & Execution :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and APIs using Selenium, Appium, Postman/RestAssured.

- Build robust test automation frameworks for scalable and efficient test execution.

- Write reusable and maintainable automation scripts using Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Perform API testing to validate integrations and ensure seamless communication across services.

2. CI/CD Integration & Version Control :

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or other DevOps tools.

- Work with Git for version control and collaborate with development teams for seamless integration.

- Ensure test automation aligns with DevOps and Agile practices for continuous delivery.

3. Code Quality & Performance Optimization :

- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure application stability.

- Debug automation failures, identify root causes, and optimize test execution performance.

- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility for web and mobile applications.

4. Collaboration & Best Practices :

- Work closely with developers, product teams, and QA engineers to ensure software quality.

- Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and testing strategy discussions.

- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging tools, and automation best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in automation testing for web, mobile, and APIs.

- Proficiency in Selenium, Appium, and Postman/RestAssured for automation testing.

- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab for test automation integration.

- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with cloud-based test automation tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for test environments.

- Experience in AI-driven test automation frameworks.
