About the Role:We’re looking for a mid-level Backend Engineer to join our founding team. You’ll own backend systems, APIs, and infra on AWS. You’ll be solving problems across scalability, fraud detection, and real-time data processing — with huge ownership from day one.Job Details:Experience: 2-5 YearsWork Schedule: 6 days a weekLocation: On-site, South DelhiResponsibilities:Design and build scalable APIs and microservices with Node.js/NestJS (serverless on AWS Lambda)Architect and maintain secure, high-performance backend systemsWork with large datasets across Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, and integrate event-driven systems with KafkaImplement and optimize fraud detection & prevention logic to protect platform integritySet up monitoring and alerting systems for reliability, performance, and securityCollaborate with frontend (React Native, Next.js, Reanimated, Redux Toolkit, React Query) to deliver seamless experiencesEnsure compliance with data protection and security best practicesParticipate in code reviews, testing, and documentationRequirements:2–4 years of experience in backend roles (consumer or transactional products)Strong expertise in Node.js/NestJS and API design (REST/GraphQL)Hands-on experience deploying to AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, infra automation)Strong working knowledge of Postgres, Redis, MongoDB in productionExperience with Kafka or similar messaging systemsUnderstanding of fraud detection algorithms, real-time data processing, and system security (preferred)Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system designComfortable in a fast-paced startup with ownership of end-to-end delivery
