Job Title: Senior Front-End Contractor (3-4 Months with possible extension)

Location: Chennai, India (In-Person/Hybrid). Chennai location is a must have. This is not a Fully remote position.

Join our dynamic startup team in Chennai, where we are pushing boundaries in innovative product development. We’re looking for a skilled front-end developer with a passion for creating sleek, user-friendly interfaces. This is a 3-4 month contract role, with potential for growth, where you'll work closely with our in-house and remote teams to bring our project to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive, high-quality web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Build a comprehensive platform dashboard, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Develop a custom Microsoft Word plugin to integrate our product functionalities directly into MS Word
  • Collaborate with our backend and GenAI team to designs well-integrated and aesthetic front-end components
  • Implement best practices to ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability of code
  • Enhance UX and integrate advanced features into the MS Word plugin, including improved dashboard components like analysis charts and autocomplete functionality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
  • Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Familiarity with digital design principles
  • Familiarity with developing Microsoft Office plugins

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Background in digital design or visual aesthetics
  • Exposure to UX research or user testing
  • Fullstack development skills is a plus
  • Familiarity with Machine learning or GenAI applications is a plus.
  • Experience with quick prototyping tools for ML applications, such as Streamlit or Gradio
