As the company scales rapidly, they are seeking an experienced Lead / Principal Software Engineer (Gen AI) to help shape their AI and ML-driven products.Job Description :We are looking for an exceptional Lead / Principal Software Engineer with expertise in Generative AI to drive the development of innovative, scalable, and AI-powered solutions. This individual will work directly with senior leadership, including the CEO and CTO, to craft and scale the product's AI-driven architecture. As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in building robust systems, integrating machine learning models, and refining AI capabilities to stay ahead of the curve.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI systems that enhance platform capabilities, particularly in Generative AI and machine learning.- Build and optimize machine learning pipelines that process and integrate data, enabling efficient model training and inference.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain AI-based products that address real-world challenges in compliance and regulatory domains.- Enhance system robustness through continuous model evaluation, tuning, and optimization for performance.- Develop and implement strategies to improve model accuracy, including handling issues like hallucinations, tokenization, and other challenges unique to Generative AI models.- Mentor junior engineers and ensure the implementation of best practices for coding, security, and design.- Collaborate with the CTO to ensure the architecture supports business goals and allows for scalable product growth.Tech Stack : - Python for AI/ML scripting- Typescript for API development- Kafka, Spark, and data warehouses for ML pipelines- AWS, GCP, and Terraform for infrastructure management- Experience with Generative AI and LLMs is requiredWhat We Expect :- 6+ years of experience in AI, ML, or software engineering roles, with at least 2+ years working on Generative AI systems.- Experience in scaling AI/ML systems, from concept to deployment, preferably within early-stage startups.- Strong proficiency in Python and Typescript, with hands-on experience building end-to-end AI-powered solutions.- Experience in working on LLMs (Large Language Models) and Fine Tuning.- Strong understanding of machine learning and AI fundamentals, including model optimization, data preprocessing, and model evaluation.- Ability to build and deploy secure APIs and systems in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP).- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality solutions at scale.What to Expect :- Competitive Salary : 2.5M - 8M INR, based on experience, plus equity (0.05% - 0.30%).- Hybrid Work : The role allows flexibility, with 3 days required in the office each week.- Ownership : You'll have significant ownership over the product and infrastructure.- Work Culture : You will be part of a dynamic, high-energy environment with a focus on speed, innovation, and customer-centric development.
