We are looking for a skilled and passionate SDE III - Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in building and scaling our B2B KYC platform by developing and enhancing microservices, APIs, and core backend functionalities. Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and backend components.


- Create and maintain well documented APIs and queue contracts for interservice communication.


- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to implement scalable and maintainable features.


- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle : planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.


- Guide junior developers on engineering best practices like TestDriven Development (TDD), clean code, and effective debugging.


- Continuously contribute to team knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.


- 6+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Node.js or similar technologies.


- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.


- Experience building distributed and highly available systems at scale.


- Hands-on experience with event driven platforms using technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.


- Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.


- Proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns and performance optimization techniques.


- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience working in Agile environments.


- Strong problem solving skills and ability to debug and resolve complex production issues.
