The SME will support students in research problem formulation, coding, algorithm design, software implementation, and publication preparation. If you have a strong engineering or technical background, love research, and enjoy mentoring, this role is for youKey Responsibilities: Guide students in research topic selection, problem identification, and proposal development. Mentor students in dissertation/thesis writing, literature review, and manuscript preparation. Support coding, software development, algorithm implementation, and technical data analysis. Review and provide structured feedback on drafts, technical reports, and publications. Ensure alignment with academic integrity, UGC/HEC guidelines, and publication standards. Conduct one-on-one mentoring sessions and track student progress. Stay updated with emerging technologies, coding practices, and engineering research trends.Required Skills & Qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, ECE, EEE, IT, or related engineering/technical domains. Strong knowledge of coding, programming languages, and technical research methodologies. Hands-on experience in Python, R, MATLAB, Java, C/C++, or domain-specific coding tools. Prior experience in academic mentoring, teaching, or research consultation is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide structured, high-quality guidance to students on technical and coding aspects.Preferred Skills: Familiarity with reference managers (EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley). Experience in publishing technical papers or guiding publications in peer-reviewed journals. Ability to mentor across multiple coding and engineering domains.
