Job Opening: 2D/3D Game Artist (Full-time)
Location: On-site, Bangalore (Marathalli)
Compensation: ₹4.5 - ₹6 Lakh per annum (Negotiable, based on experience and skill)
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and creative 2D/3D Game Artist with 3-4+ years of experience to join our dynamic game development team. As a Game Artist, you will play a crucial role in the creation of visually stunning and engaging assets for our game projects. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Bangalore office, where you will work closely with the design and development team to bring concepts to life across various art styles and project needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Creation: Develop high-quality 2D and 3D game assets, including characters, environments, props, and visual effects.
Concept Art & Visual Development: Create concept art, mood boards, and visual designs to establish the overall visual direction.
Modeling & Texturing: Model, texture, rig, and animate characters and environments as per project requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with the design and development team to ensure the assets fit within the gameplay environment and align with the creative vision.
Iteration & Feedback: Adapt and iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and technical constraints, ensuring assets are optimized for performance.
Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to switch between different art tasks and styles based on evolving project needs.
RequirementsExperience: 3-4+ years of experience in 2D/3D game art creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D assets.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite , Blender , Maya , 3ds Max , Substance Painter , or similar software.
Strong understanding of the game art pipeline (modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation).
Solid knowledge of asset optimization techniques for performance.
Ability to create visually appealing and stylistically consistent assets for different game genres.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take feedback and work collaboratively within a team environment.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
On-Site Role: Willingness and ability to work on-site in Bangalore.
Nice to HaveGame Engine Experience: Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine .
Game Design Principles: Understanding of basic game design principles, especially how art integrates with gameplay.
Prior Indie Game/Startup Experience: Experience working in an indie game or startup environment where creativity and flexibility are crucial.
Selection ProcessPortfolio Review: Submit your most relevant and impressive work showcasing both 2D and 3D art.
Assignment Round: Complete a short task to showcase your practical skills in 2D/3D art creation.
Interview Round: Meet the team, understand expectations, and discuss your approach to game art creation.
