Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented FPGA Developer to join our team in designing and implementing high-speed trading systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in FPGA development and a strong understanding of hardware acceleration for low-latency applications. You will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing FPGA-based solutions that enable ultra-fast execution of trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

FPGA Design and Development: Design, develop, and optimize FPGA-based systems for low-latency trading applications.

Hardware Acceleration: Implement hardware acceleration techniques to improve the performance of trading systems.

Algorithm Implementation: Work closely with software developers and quants to implement trading algorithms on FPGA platforms.

Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and accuracy of FPGA designs.

Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in FPGA designs, ensuring ultra-low latency and high throughput.

Collaborate with Teams: Work collaboratively with software engineers, traders, and other team members to integrate FPGA solutions into our trading infrastructure.

Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest developments in FPGA technology and financial trading systems to continuously improve our solutions.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in FPGA development, preferably in the financial services or telecommunications industry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog for FPGA design.

Experience with FPGA tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus, or similar.

Familiarity with high-speed communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet).

Experience with low-latency, high-frequency trading systems is a plus.

Strong understanding of digital signal processing and hardware optimization techniques.

Familiarity with C/C++ and scripting languages (Python, TCL) is an advantage.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance and efficiency.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
