1. Pain Management & Physical Rehabilitation with Heal XR:


· Heal XR Platform: Verity’s Heal XR platform is a CDSCO-registered medical device that seamlessly integrates Applied Neuroscience, Virtual Reality, AI, Advanced Data Analytics, and Gamification.

· Non-Invasive Solutions: Heal XR offers drug-free solutions for pain management and rehabilitation across various medical specialties, including Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and more.

· Patient-Centric Approach: Patients benefit from immersive gamification and personalized progress tracking, accelerating their recovery.


2. Surgical Training with Sim XR:


· Sim XR Platform: Verity’s Sim XR platform combines Mixed Reality, AI, and Cloud Computing.

· Realistic Training: Trainee surgeons can create virtual operating theaters in any space and train on realistic scenarios.

· Cloud-Based Recording: Training sessions are recorded and securely stored in the cloud for review by professors.

The Role

Verity is looking for a dynamic lead software developer to join our team. The developer must be passionate about working in the healthcare space for a startup and exhibit the following qualities.

· Empathy: Understanding the needs and challenges of patients and healthcare providers can drive more user-centric solutions.

· Adaptability: Essential due to the fast-paced nature of startups and the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare technology.

· Detail-Oriented: Ensuring that work meets stringent regulatory standards and maintains patient data security.

· Problem-Solving Skills and Creativity: Vital for innovating and overcoming the complex challenges inherent in healthcare.

· Collaboration and Communication: Necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including medical professionals, designers, and business strategists.


The primary responsibilities of the lead software engineer include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the software engineering team: Provide direction and mentorship to team members to ensure a collaborative working environment conducive to meeting project timelines and objectives. Foster continuous professional development within the team, thereby maintaining high operational efficiency.
  • Architecture and Design: Ensure that all technical designs and architectural frameworks are aligned with the strategic objectives of the Company. Supervise the integration of systems and be directly responsible for the overall software quality, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards for functionality, performance, and reliability. Provide technical leadership in the resolution of complex issues that may arise during the execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to devise and implement the Company’s long-term technology strategy this includes staying informed of emerging trends and advancements in the industry to ensure the Company remains at the forefront of technological innovation. Provide expert consultation on the technical viability of new product features and initiatives, ensuring their alignment with business and technical goals.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of software development projects, from inception to delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, project planning, risk assessment, timeline management, and ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed-upon deadlines and budgetary constraints. The Employee shall coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all technical activities are aligned with broader business objectives, and shall take necessary steps to mitigate risks to project completion.
  • Drive innovation and R&D within the Company this includes the identification, assessment, and integration of cutting-edge technologies into the Company’s software products. Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging team participation in research and development initiatives and implementing tools and methodologies that enhance efficiency and technological growth.
  • Actively participate in reviewing code to ensure it adheres to industry best practices and the Company’s coding standards. Guide the team in writing, maintaining, and optimizing complex software code, with a focus on ensuring that the software is scalable, well-documented, and performs optimally. Engage in debugging and troubleshooting to address high-priority issues.

Required Competencies and Experience:


1. 5+ years of increasingly complex development experience. Additional 2+ years in a lead role.


2. Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or computer engineering.


3. Technical experience with the following technologies:

o Unity

o VR/XR/MR Development

o .Net

o C#

o RDBMS

o Cloud Computing, preferably AWS

o JavaScript

o Web app development

o Data visualization, basic analytics, and reporting

o Basic UI development


4. Unity framework

Preferred Competencies and Experience:

1. Knowledge of chronic pain, healthcare, pain management, physical rehabilitation and surgical training.

2. Game design.

3. Usability design.

4. Advanced UI design and development.
