Job Title - Manager, Tax & Compliance

- We are looking for a Manager - Tax & Compliance to join our team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for end to end tax planning and compliance of the legal entity. This role will oversee the GST, TDS, TCS, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Tax Audit, FEMA & RBI Guideline compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local and international taxation, along with a good understanding of business fundamentals. The candidate is expected to ensure company wide tax and other compliances while understanding the business/ operational limitations.

- The Tax Manager will coordinate and manage all tax matters relating to entities within the group as well as identifying and implementing tax processes and solutions according to regulatory and governance standards.

A. Key Job Responsibilities:

- Manage compliance with all tax aspects including, corporate tax, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, FEMA & RBI guidelines.

- Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe

- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns. Manage and coordinate tax audits.

- Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests from auditors, regulators and other authorities.

- Custodian of transfer pricing policy, responsible for ensuring that policy is up to date and appropriate agreements and approvals are in place to ensure compliance.

- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in the company tax procedures.

- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.

- Preparing and owning the tax & compliance calendar for the organization. Ensuring timely preparation and filling of all forms, reports, returns, certificates etc (including but not limiting to GST, TDS, TCS, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, FEMA, RBI guidelines etc)

B. Key Job Requirements:

- Degree in Accountancy or recognizable accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA and etc.)

- 5 - 8 years of post qualification relevant working experience

- Proven work experience as a Tax Manager

- International good practices in tax administration including developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance management program. Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.

- Familiar with Ind AS (IFRS), US GAAP is an advantage

- Strong domestic (Direct & Indirect tax) & international tax knowledge.

- Dynamic and bright personality with a positive attitude and excellent communication skill. A team player with good organization skill and an eye for accuracy and detail

- Willing to work in demanding dynamic environment

- Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.

- System-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Excel

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:

- Communication (written and oral): Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
