· Accompanying the new requirements for our products until Go-live by selecting the right test strategy.

· Analyze our applications and their new features by defining and documenting the right test cases and test plans. (Independently perform software tests and document the results).

· Actively provide feedback to our development teams on a continuous basis to constantly improve the software quality.

· Constant involvement till the development of the test concept and drive the automation of the test strategy.

· Ability to work as an individual contributor in the project.

· Automating web applications, to ensure the effective testing and validation of web-based software products.

· Good hands-on experience in Type script, Java script and Java

· Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure efficient and scalable automation testing.

· Integrating automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that automated tests run seamlessly as part of the software development and deployment process.

· Assessing and selecting appropriate automation tools and technologies to meet the specific needs of the organization or project.

· Developing a comprehensive automation test strategy, including defining test objectives, scope, approach, and automation coverage.

· Creating and maintaining automation test scripts using programming languages like Java, Python, or other scripting languages to validate software functionality.

· should have expertise in Git processes like code check-in/checkout, merging, and pull requests to ensure effective version control and collaboration within the software development lifecycle.

· Proficiency in interpreting user stories and converting them into comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality.

· Demonstrated ability to execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects effectively.

· Strong experience in utilizing Jira or similar tools for test case management, defect tracking, and agile project management.

· Capability in creating test plans outlining testing activities, scope, resources, and schedule.

· Ability to capture and analyze testing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve the testing process

· Proficiency in raising and documenting bugs, along with clear and detailed bug reports.

· Knowledge and application of best testing practices, ensuring optimal quality standards and effective testing processes

· Capability in creating clear and comprehensive documentation of testing procedures, results, and findings.


Must have requirements:

· ISTQB certified and good to have experience in AWS.

· 1 - 2 years of project experience in playwright.

· Cucumber framework

· Experience in framework set up

· Knowledge and experience in Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline set up

· API testing is advantageous.

· Good to have experience in Jira with X-ray plugin

Experienced in:

 Playwright*

 JavaScript/Typescript

 Java programming language

 Implementation of QA processes and QA audits.

Programming languages:

 Typescript, Java script, Java, .Net, VB, C or alternatively in C++, C#, HTML, Angular.

 At least one automation framework implementation experience Playwright


Professional attributes

 Flexible to work in the German time zone.

 Good Communication and presentation skills.

 Ability to analyze, goal orientation, motivation, and a structured sustainable way of working.

 Ability to work with intercultural teams.  Ability to work independently with minimum support from colleagues at HQ.
