Roles & Responsibilities

• He will spearhead the Barra Coal block for Balco and will be responsible for leading and developing greenfield Barra coal block project.
• Key responsibilities include early operationalization of the coal mines with a focus on sustainable mining practices, business process optimization, internal/External stakeholder management.
• Additionally, selecting reputed business partners for exploration, MDO, Logistics technology providers and strategizing the conceptual design for 100% coal security to our thermal power plant.
• Close coordination with MOEF&CC, Central & State regulatory, Asset Optimization, Sustainability model, Legal compliance with all statutory requirements to mitigate potential risks and best practices across the mining industry.
• Design & Execute Business Plans and strategies formulation & implementation, assist the team in legal/regulatory work pertaining mines obligations.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• High quality, result oriented and resilient leader, heaving deep and extensive mining experience
• Hunger to drive transformational changes, especially in mining domain.
• B.E /B. Tech, Qualifications in Management Systems, Professional Course in Management (added advantage), with 20+ years of experience.
