This role requires very strong Linux background with ability to automate using ansible

Location - WFO Bangalore

Notice Period 30 days

Budget 25 to 30 Lakhs

• Proven experience as a Linux Platform Engineer, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) preferred.

• Proficient in Python and Ansible scripting.

• Demonstrated expertise in Linux OS configuration management.

• Experience with RHEL LEAPP upgrades

• Experience with Data Visualization tools, such as Splunk and Grafana

• Experience with Service Now

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a team-oriented environment.

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification for RHEL8 or equivalent

• Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and embrace continuous learning.

• Knowledge of financial services, including regulations and security standards, is preferred.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Linux, financial services, and cybersecurity.


Responsibilities:


• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to the Linux platform, including performance tuning and security enhancements.

• Provide technical support by triaging and resolving for tier 2 and tier 3 technical issue and provide root cause analysis

• Manage Linux OS configurations drifts, specifically with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain Linux OS platform.

• Document system configurations, procedures, and policies.

• Creation of Service Now Dashboard for the tracking and managing of support queue.

• Lead or participate on Large Cross Functional group projects

• Mentor and coach less experienced staff in data capture and management
