About the Role :We are looking for an experienced AWS Big Data Lead Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable data solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Big Data technologies, cloud-native architecture, and leadership to guide engineering teams in delivering enterprise-grade data pipelines and analytics platforms.Key Responsibilities :- Lead the development of end-to-end Big Data solutions on AWS.- Design, implement, and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming pipelines.- Build ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of data platforms.- Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Big Data engineers.- Implement data governance, monitoring, and best practices for data management.- Evaluate and integrate emerging Big Data and AWS technologies.Mandatory Skills :- AWS Services : S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB.- Big Data Frameworks : Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka.- Programming & Scripting : Python, SQL, Java/Scala.- Data Engineering : Data lake & warehouse design, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, metadata management.- Security & Compliance : IAM, encryption, VPC, GDPR/HIPAA knowledge.- Strong solution design, architecture, and system integration experience.- Leadership Skills : Team mentoring and stakeholder communication.
