Key Responsibilities :- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel and WordPress.- Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across Laravel and WordPress platforms.- Collaborate with frontend developers to implement responsive UI/UX designs.- Implement database design and queries for both MySQL and other relational databases.- Follow best coding practices, version control (Git), and documentation standards.- Stay updated with latest trends in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and web development.- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.Required Qualifications & Experience :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 3+ years of professional experience in web development using PHP, Laravel, and WordPress.- Strong expertise in Laravel framework including MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, routing, middleware, and Blade templates.- Proficient in WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization.- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery; experience with frontend frameworks is a plus.- Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases and writing optimized queries.- Experience with version control systems (Git) and deployment workflows.- Understanding of web security best practices and optimization techniques.- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :- Knowledge of Vue.js, React, or Angular for frontend integration.- Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.- Familiarity with Linux server environments, Apache/Nginx, and hosting deployment.- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (ref:hirist.tech)
