Job Description:


Position Overview: The Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Red Hat will play a pivotal role in organization by collaborating closely with the solutions architect to analyze customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive solutions. This includes developing both High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) to ensure the successful implementation of Red Hat solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Needs Analysis: Work alongside the solutions architect to thoroughly understand and document customer requirements.
  • Solution Translation: Translate customer needs into detailed technical requirements for the solution team.
  • Design Development: Create High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for Red Hat solutions, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for Red Hat technologies, providing guidance and support to both internal teams and customers.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, processes, and configurations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Red Hat technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solution offerings.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Red Hat technologies in a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of High-Level and Low-Level Design principles.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
